Welcome to our new web domain!

In this domain space we intend to provide information and history of our organization along with a little about our town and county.

Behind The Scenes

We also plan on a few web apps for our members to use and have already set up email accounts for members of our Board of Directors.

Plans are currently in the works for an official blog for our organization, a little wiki featuring history of the group, and another little blog engine for our all volunteer thrift shop to use for info sharing and marketing needs.

What We Do

The Goldendale Senior Center offers membership to anyone in our community over 60 and provides a place for seniors to socialize as well as engage in activities such as aerobics, games, puzzles, and craft classes to its members along with a nicely stocked book nook with a couple comfy couches for reading relaxation .

Community Service

Over the decades The Goldendale Senior Center has provided many services to its members and seniors in the Goldendale environs. People rented the main hall for weddings, family reunions, civic gatherings and musical events. The game room had card players on regularly scheduled Wednesdays, as well as bingo, birthday parties, meetings of various interest groups, a green room for visiting performers and a space to work on a puzzle once in awhile

The Center also has a small thrift store featuring items donated to it. It is staffed entirely by volunteers and all proceeds go to help GSC

Strategic Partners

Klickitat County Senior Services leases the center's kitchen two days a week to prepare lunches for all seniors who show up at noon and for our local meals-on-wheels recipients.

Civic organizations rent the hall upon occasion for meetings and events.

Various donors from cash to various in-kind donations are an important factor in our ability to do what we do. We feel blessed by every donor and immensely appreciate their help in assisting in our ability to git'r'done.

One Another: Our Members often donate cash for membership fees for other members who may be struggling to be able to stay paid up or for new members who might want to join but currently have financial constraints that prevent them from being able to dive right in at that time.

Recent Updates

Our New Domain

The Goldendale Senior Center has been run by a 501(c)3 non-profit group for decades now and it was about time we got our very own web domain.

This web template

This was chosen because we are just getting on that good old information super hiway and as we launch it sure looks like open road from here.

Our Services

For many, many years the Goldendale Senior Center has been a place for members to gather for a variety of activities of assorted interest groups within its main body.

We have registered this domain to expand our services upon the web to provide more avenues for members to stay in touch digitally and perhaps provide some interesting or useful data points to the world at large as they surf on by.

Community Lunches

Lunches are served promptly at noon every Tuesday and Thursday thanks to Klickitat County Senior Services and their astounding kitchen staff who also do wheels on meals.
