About our little wiki
Over the decades the Goldendale Senior Center has accumulated some photos and clippings in a scrapbook we plan to digitize and share in a wiki so, theoretically, any person in the world could take a look at it in their web browser. The focus will be mostly on the history of our organization, but may include occasional forays into city and county histories as well.
Until our wiki gets filled in we are going to include a bit of our history here.
History of the Goldendale Senior Center

Olen Monroe joined the Senior Council a a director of R.S.V.P. Olen found the old Safeway store in Goldendale for sale. The seniors and volunteers went to work and the deed to the building was signed on October 12, 1978. The council was disbanded on October 15, 2012, with funds and duties being transferred to CEKS (Community Enrichmemnt for Klickitat and Skamania County).
